Wave of Prayer

Elizabeth Megahey, Faith and Policy Co-ordinator

Prayer is the powerhouse of Mothers' Union ; it was central in Mary Sumner's life. By us all using the Diocesan Wave of Prayer we will be supporting each other and the work done in the name of Mothers' Union . Please let it become an integral part of your prayer life, both personally and in your Mothers' Union meetings.

If you would rather have your own printed copy of the Wave of Prayer, then you can download a copy. It is avialable in either 'RTF' format (suitable for use by most word processing programmes) or the widely used 'PDF' format.

  • Wave of Prayer Calendar in RTF Format (20 secs with a 56K modem)
  • Wave of Prayer Calendar in PDF Format (5 secs with a 56K modem)
To download the PDF file, right-click the link and choose 'Save Target As...' instead of left clicking as usual.

This is an important part of our ministry and support for each other and those in need. If you would like anyone you know of to have this support, they may have been bereaved, had a family crisis, be depressed, be ill or whatever, do let one of the co-ordinators know and the person will be prayed for daily for a fortnight. All you need to give is a Christian name and the details you want known, and they will be passed on.

Co-ordinators:

Elizabeth Megahey, Faith and Policy Co-ordinator
