Mothers' Union

Activities

Mothers' Union in the very diverse diocese of Lincoln has a number of varying activities throughout the Diocese.
The project work undertaken in the parishes, deaneries, diocese and overseas, are organised through the Action & Outreach Unit. The co-ordinator for this Unit is currently Mrs Margaret Cardwell.

Opportunities for holidays for those in particular need through our AFIA project.
Runs the play area in Lincoln Prison, helps with day conferences in Lincoln Prison, and has opened a Branch in Morton Hall Women's Prison
Supports Womens' refuges in the Diocese
Monthly Wave of Prayer - for your daily devotions
We have seven externally accredited Parenting Group Facilitators. Contact
the Action & Outreach Unit Co-ordinator if you would like one of them to
run a group in your area.
Overseas Work - Lincoln Diocesan Mothers' Union has sent members to visit Kenya, Nigeria and South India - TIRUNELVELI TRIP AUGUST 2005
A Road Show - We have a roadshow of slides and presentations about Mothers' Union, which can be used to explain who we are and what we do. Contact office for details.
