Mothers' UnionAFIAAFIA (meaning Away From It All) is a national
Mothers' Union project that tries to provide subsidised holidays to
those in particular need. They might not have been able to afford the
cost of a commercial holiday for many years, or might need a break from
caring for a dependent relative, for example. Clients are recommended
byMothers' Unionbranches, clergy, or professional agencies, for the
AFIA team to consider for one of the holidays offered each year. Holidays
are tailoredto meet the need of the client. |
